AGM May 2017




This year’s AGM will again be held at St Teresa’s Club on Tuesday 16 May 2017, and is free to all paid-up members.




As we are now working to a new constitution, the whole executive committee must stand down annually and then stand for re-election by the members.


This year some Officers and committee members will not be standing for re-election, so this is an ideal opportunity for members to join the committee and help run Up Holland U3A.


As well as new committee members there will also be a need to elect members to specific posts e.g., Chair & Vice-Chair, Treasurer & Assistant, Secretary & Assistant, Membership Officer, Group Co-ordinator and Publicity Officer.


These posts are open to all members and training/guidance will be provided wherever necessary.


Any member interested in standing for one of these posts can get more information on the roles by contacting the Secretary, John Taylor, or any present committee member. There is also a leaflet explaining the committee roles available on the Publicity Desk


Nomination forms can also be obtained from the Secretary.
