An eight day,two centre holiday - Ajaccio and Calvi

Unfortunately, this trip is now cancelled due to slow uptake and coronavirus uncertainty

Rioja and the San Mateo festival - 15th September.

An eight day, two centre holiday to Santander (2 nights), and Logrono.

Email received from John Makinson at Discovery Travel:

"I am writing to you with an update as to our current situation and the relationship with your booking or interest in our proposed tour to Spain this September.

Most of the tours Discovery Travel have planned for the early part of the season have been postponed until  later in the year or potentially into the new year. And with a few exceptions the majority of clients have accepted the situation and the change in dates.  

In regards to tours such as Rioja, I still feel as though it is far too early to make any changes but should the situation persist and it be deemed unsafe to travel abroad later in the year I would recommend postponing the booking by 12 months.  I will be in constant contact with Mr Mike Crickett to discuss the issue.

Also it has come to my attention that some prospective travellers on this tour declined as they thought the hotel in Logrono , Rioja was too far from the city centre. I must reassure everyone that there are two hotels from the same brand and we are booked to stay in the hotel very close to the city centre and NOT the hotel on the outskirts of the city.

I sincerely hope we will be able to travel this year and thank you for your continuous support and understanding during this very difficult period."
